BLUE CARBON

Blue Carbon

Mangroves are an important part of life in the Anambas Islands. They help protect coastlines from erosion, provide shelter for marine life, and support healthy coastal ecosystems. Our Blue Carbon initiative works alongside local communities to restore mangrove ecosystems and promote awareness of their environmental value. Mangrove planting and stewardship activities help strengthen coastal resilience while supporting healthier ecosystems for people and nature alike. The program also supports environmental learning through KELAUT and provides opportunities for women to engage with local biodiversity through ecoprint activities as part of our Women's in Conservation program.
