Munawir graduated from the Jakarta Fisheries College, majoring in Fish Catching Technology, and is originally from Bayat Village. Before joining Anambas Foundation, he worked with the Department of Fisheries, Agriculture, and Food of the Anambas Islands Regency Government as a Technical Manager for Aquaculture. He currently serves as a Marine Conservation Facilitator at Anambas Foundation, supporting turtle conservation and community development programs in Bayat Village.
